Samples of My Work

Title: Convertible Problem Solving
This work was inspired by a scene in my script where Candis Green (a famously bad driver) uses another characters car to run into a group of monsters. I wanted to capture the sense of movement, chaos, and thrill that came with the moment.

Title: Fun Sized
Fun Sized was inspired by the nostalgia of paper airplanes. In this piece, I imagined my character, Candis Green, using her magical shrinking candy to take to the skies. I wanted to capture her fun-loving, larger-than-life attitude through a childhood staple; the paper airplane.

Title: Phobias
Inspiration to create this art came when examining some of the funny things my characters were afraid of. In this piece, I imagined my characters, Candis Green, Fetcher Man and Morph all standing awkwardly with call out signs. I wanted to capture a sense of absurdity while staying true to the individuality of each character.

Title: Void Access
Void Access was an environment study to a critical location in my story. Fetcher Man frequently accesses the void to store items, solve problems, and escape conflicts. In this piece I wanted to demonstrate the practically of such a space and how it reflects the few people who use it.

Title: Home Sweet Home
This room is designed with Candis Green in mind. Candis a genus inventor from Candyland with a strong personality, impressive amount of confidence, and authenticity. Considering this i wanted to give her a practical workspace, include sweetish (Candyland script) writing on posters, and stuffed animals reflective of the creatures in the area.

Title: Granny’s Chair
Granny’s Chair was an environment study of the Smith house living room. I wanted this space to feel reflective of the family Matriarch Gertrude Smith (A character inspired by Granny Smith apples). For this setting i considered the apples for color, the environmental context of Candyland, and things that would reside in the home of a practical woman who puts family first.
